Have something you want to bring to life?
Whether you already have a model ready to print or just an idea you’d like to explore, we offer commission-based 3D printing tailored to your project. If you have a file, we can review it and discuss the best way to produce it. If you don’t, we’re happy to talk through options and determine whether your project is a good fit for printing.
Our commission process is designed to be straightforward, flexible, and transparent from start to finish.
Best Fit
Commission printing works best for small to medium-sized parts, prototypes, wargaming models and terrain. If a request falls outside our practical capabilities, we’ll let you know upfront and help point you in the right direction where possible.
Furthermore, Saguaro Lake Printing is subject to the laws and regulations of the United States. Certain models, designs, or finished products may not legally be furnished in some cases, as a preventative measure against misuse.
Our Process
1. Submit Your Request
Send us your model file or a brief description of what you’d like printed. This helps us understand the scope, size, and intent of the project.
2. Review & Specifications
We’ll review the request and discuss relevant details such as material type, finish, size, tolerances, and intended use. If adjustments or considerations are needed, we’ll flag them early.
3. Quote & Timeline
Based on the specifications, we’ll provide a quote and an estimated production timeline. At this stage, we’ll also confirm whether the project is feasible within our current capacity.
4. Approval or Revision
You can approve the quote as-is or request changes. If approved, the project moves into the production queue. If not, no obligation is incurred.
5. Production & Inspection
Once in queue, the item is printed, cleaned, and inspected prior to fulfillment. If a print does not meet our quality standards, it is re-evaluated before shipment.
6. Shipping or Pickup
After completion, the item is prepared for shipment using the selected delivery method.
